201005080955 Hung Parliament
The last Hung Parliament was 1974. George Brown states that this is the first Hung Parlaiment this generation has known. What does he mean by that? He was born the same year as me and must surely remember 1974 - or was he asleep?  To give him the benifit of the doubt, perhaps he meant the people below him who are presumably younger, but lets say you were born 1964, 10yrs old in 1974, now 46, you could remember if you were a bit precouscious. Let us say it is new for all the under 40’s; so that is the definition of ‘’this generation’’. Well is seems both Gordon Brown and myself are ‘’has beens’’, oh well, off to my chair in front of the TV with my pipe and slippers!
